Managing Consistent Color Reproduction
In the past there have been a number of different approaches to generate reliable consistent color in professional printing. Several attempts have been made to organize these efforts into common industry solutions while defining the standards. The main parameters affecting the print quality and consistency are as below :-
- Process Colors and Chemicals being used in the process
- Color Brightness and Whiteness
- Being able to measure results for different substrates under varying light conditions
We at Zaware’s have a strong technology partnership with the world leader in the Offset Print technology – HEIDELBERG. We have state of the art software’s which seamlessly connects our Pre-Press and Press through the Instant Gate software. This allows for minimal manual intervention when it comes to getting the colors right. We have installed the EPSON SureColor SC-P-7000 which is the only Large format Inkjet Printer which is color calibrated with our Heileberg SX-74 press. The EPSON SurColor SC-P7000 is also the world’s only proofing printer certified by FOGRA, UGRA and ISO for color replication.
While using Prinect – Heidelberg color managed workflow, we at Zaware’s aim to take a closer look at individual aspects of the color reproduction capability. Through Prinect, our focus has always been on optimising our pre-press & press settings so as to monitor the printing process before, during and after print. This is achieved essentially by improved and seamless integration of the printing press, prepress workflows and raw materials used.This also allows printing presses to be set up fast following a job change while delivering the color accurate results job after job, making our customers feel more confident with our consistent color reproduction ability.
A STRONG POST PRESS
We also have a strong Post Press with multiple cutting and folding machines along with Creasing, saddle stitching and Perfect binding machines in the bindery section. All these machines are also sourced from HEIDELBERG’S sister concern STAHL and MULLER MARTINI.
In the Packaging and Finishing section we are equipped with state of the art HEIDELBERG Cylinder machines for Punching, Emboss and Foiling operations. We have a stand-alone coater for Aqueous, UV and Barrier Coatings. We also have a semi-automatic screen printing machine for SPOT UV and other operations. The pasting machine that we have has multiple pasting possibilities and helps us in giving our customers perfectly pasted cartons. Our rigid box making section also has multiple equipment’s.
The raw materials that we choose are all tested and we have a one window tie up with HEIDELBERG directly for most of our key raw materials and consumables. We choose the best raw material that is required for the substrate we are printing and finishing on. We also have tied up with the Industry’s best Die makers, Pantone Ink manufacturers and other key partners worldwide so that we are able to give our customers the best each time, every time.
